On Sunday, January 15th, Captain Ken Rittenour made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the parking lot of Panda Express, on State Route 95, for an equipment violation. After making contact with the driver and through subsequent investigation, a loaded firearm, 90 grams of suspected cocaine and $755.00 cash were recovered.
27 year-old Ortavious Hood Jr. was subsequently arrested for a Probation Violation and was transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center. Formal charges of Weapons Under Disability, Carrying Concealed Weapon and Aggravated Possession of Drugs are pending lab results.
