Part-Time Kennel Technician/Support Worker

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is hiring a Part-Time Kennel Technician/Support Worker for The Marion County Dog Pound located at 2252 Richland Road in Marion, Ohio.

This is a part time position that pays $14.00 per hour. Working hours will be 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Mondays and Saturdays with additional hours as needed but not exceeding 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities include, Providing information to the public on the adoption of animals, general office support for the pound (answering phones, greeting customers, social media updates), cleaning kennels, feeding, and walking animals, assisting animal control officers with intake of animals, and other upkeep tasks as assigned.

Qualifications include the following: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and clear criminal history.
