CITY OF GALION: Reminder: Campaign Signs Must Be Removed from Public View

City of Galion issued the following announcement on Dec. 15. 

The city has received complaints regarding the number of campaign signs still placed in yards throughout town. As a reminder, campaign signs for political candidates and issues should be removed within three days following an election. Nov. 3 was election day and residents have been given ample time to remove signs from their yard. Violations may be reported by calling the Building Inspector at 419-468-2642.

Codified Ordinance 1181.06

(b)   Signs or posters concerning candidates for elective office, public issues and similar matters to be decided by public election, to be displayed beginning not more than forty-five (45) days prior to the first day on which votes may be cast for the election, and to be removed not later than three (3) days after such election.
