Morrow County Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 13. 

Morrow County Hospital provides testing for the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) for patients with a valid order from a provider or for those patients evaluated in the Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center when the provider deems testing necessary.

Patients with a valid order from their provider should be directed to the Medical Specialty Center at (419) 949.3073 to schedule a collection appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Medical Specialty Center:

1. Pre-procedure testing
2. Symptomatic associates with a valid order from a provider
3. Symptomatic patients with a valid order from a provider
4. Asymptomatic patients with a valid order from a provider

Patients being evaluated in the ED/Urgent Care

1. Patients being admitted to Morrow County Hospital or transferred to another facility
2. Symptomatic ED/Urgent Care patients

Patients with a valid order from their provider should be directed to the Medical Specialty Center at (419) 949.3073 to schedule a collection appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Asymptomatic patients without a valid order from a provider who do not wish to be seen in the Urgent Care Center or Emergency Department should utilize a retail testing location. Click here for a list of retail testing locations.
